UPDATE 3 December 1, 2014 The replacement charger arrived on November 29 and works perfectly. For money, expect the occasional dip. However, the seller stands by their product, so you should feel confident when making a purchase. 11/20/2014 UPDATE 2: The seller has already received a reply and is only sending a replacement charger and I don't have to return the whole package. I expect to receive the new charger before the estimated delivery date of the original batch, so overall I'm very satisfied. This is especially true considering how much I paid for it and that it seems to compete with lamps that people foolishly pay upwards of $300 for. The rating rose again to 4 stars. 11/19/2014 UPDATE. The charger doesn't meet the requirements, so I've downgraded my rating to 2 stars for now. I have a compatible spare charger, but not everyone who buys one. The rating will be returned depending on the seller's decision. I *thought* the charger was working because the green light was on. However, the green light was powered by a battery, not the house's electricity. When I drained the battery and plugged it in. Nothing. The same battery is charged normally on the other charger, and the other battery is also not charged on the faulty charger. I already have a place for my helmet and was looking for a place for a handlebar. It's probably somewhere in between. I would call it a wide patch or a narrow creek. The faceplate and plexiglass are removable so I can replace the clear plastic with custom cut diffuser lenses to widen the beam on one or both drivers - these should come as standard accessories to allow the user to adjust the beam pattern. Very bright light but it is NOT 5000lm. I would estimate it to be somewhere in the 1000-1500 lumen range. All that's left is to use it for a while and see how well the cheap battery lasts.
