Quick and Dirty On The Spenco Total Support Max Insole Size 12/13-Great firm support without being hard and cushioning without feeling mushy. The best way I can describe them is that they are like having your bare feet sit on low pile carpet.-They feel great no matter what socks I have on - thick Merino wool socks or barefoot. I may start stinking up my shoes going barefoot again now it feels so good.-True protective padding. The materials in this insole are durable and actually are in a different class than grocery store/drug store insoles-These run large. I have a pair of 14 shoes that I can barely squeeze these into. If you wear a size 12 you may end up cutting these down or buying the 10-11. These don't move around in my size 14's at all so I haven't bothered to check if they reach the toe inside. If they are smaller than 14 I can't tell.------Extended ReviewThese are the best insoles I've ever had. They are better than any included in shoes I've bought or bought aftermarket. These are the only insoles to provide lasting relief for my feet. I can go more than 24 hours wearing these with no issue at all. I went with this size even though I wear a size 14 and they worked out well. They don't move around inside my shoes & I haven't worn shoes without these since I bought them. I have high arches and find these very solid but comfortable. They don't feel hard at all but also don't feel mushy or overly padded. They are just the right level of firmness and support. Some high arch insoles will have you feeling like you just got caned in some far off land for littering. These insoles are the complete opposite. For the first time in years I'm not in a rush to get my shoes off. I can't say enough about these.Unless my pair are a fluke, these run very large. As you guys already know, shoe manufacturers vary in how they make shoes of any given size. I have some Adidas Terrex shoes that are size 14 and this insole barely fits. I have another pair of Terrex in a different model size 13 that are more like a size 15 and these are perfect. They fit most of my size 14 shoes well. I wouldn't buy the size 14-15 insert because I don't think it would fit any shoes I own. I already bought another pair of these insoles in 12-13 and will pick up a 11-12 too since some of my shoes have narrow heels or other features that make the 12-13 really tough to fit.Give the Spenco Total Support Max Insoles a try. With Revain's return policy there's nothing to risk but time and trying them out. If your dogs were killing you like mine were you should give them a chance.
