It was a disappointment. Unlike other carbon steel pans

This was a disappointment. Unlike other carbon steel pans, the cooking surface is very rough, making it almost impossible to season it to the point where it doesn't stick. Also, the factory seasoning is pretty bad. It's basically just a thinner version of the traditional house pan, which is fine if that's what you're after. no product for you. Use Mauviel, deBuyer or Matfer instead.
