I originally ordered the white SecurityMan Bar but it didn't feel secure enough for my front door. My doorknob was taller than a regular doorknob, so it couldn't be mounted the recommended 12" from the door. I called the manufacturer and they said I had to order their "black" version as it was bigger and bigger. secure. So I brought back the white version which Revain made very easy. I placed an order for the black version on Sunday and it arrived the next day! I couldn't believe it showed up so early in the COVID-19 era. The black model is very sturdy and fits my larger doorknob. It turns out it's the same price, so why order the less secure version?
