Review on 🎨 White 3D Printing Filament - USAFilament 9800426 by Richard Sallah

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good value print - Decent color - Poor fixation

Seems to print well on Ultimaker 2 at 220°C and 80mm/s. that the back end of the PLA goes through a small hole in the spool hub. This little extra piece got caught on my printer's spool holder, so one of the 4 large pieces I made had an error that looked under-extruded. It took him a while to realize that he was really not getting any material because that small piece of PLA was causing the spool to not feed. It must have cleared itself up. It looks like a mechanical problem. I trim off the excess on the spool bushing. This needs to be watched. The material seems to print reasonably well, although it doesn't set as well as the Form Futura EasyFil. I've found that both materials produce the same pressure, but Form Futura gives a better finish. The border on the parts I used isn't fully fused either. It also costs 1/3 of that stuff, so I'm not dissatisfied. I've printed about 1/2 roll so far and will probably order another one. The color is good for bright white. Update: I have downgraded this product. Initially I was ok with a few merging issues. However, after half a roll I found that this particular filament tends to clog the Ultimaker 2 after each print. It also has many fusion issues causing parts to break. Other threads I use work much better. After each print, after it cools down, I have to manually push the material into the printhead to clean it up. That's a problem. One of the biggest problems is that the merge was very successful and became more unsuccessful than successful as I use it more and more. Parts with 30% infill and a body thickness of 1.2mm and a wall thickness of 3.8mm break very easily. The other threads I have work great on the same part.

Pros
  • Compatible with various printers
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
