Review on πŸ“Ί AT&T DirecTV Now Android TV Wireless OTT Set-Top Box with 2GB RAM DDR4, 16GB ROM, 1.6GHz Quad-Core Processor for 4K Streaming Media (Osprey) by Matt Travers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Anyone saying it doesn't work didn't search the internet.

First, the reason for the 4 stars is because the item arrived 23 days after ordering. At first I thought I was deceived as the label was made but the courier never picked it up. As soon as I asked for a refund, they replied that it was lost and immediately sent it back. Anyway, I managed to do it eventually. I was also skeptical about ordering after seeing all the "this doesn't work" comments. I opened the box and was pleasantly surprised to see factory soldered and sealed components. I pocketed it and found that everyone seemed to have hit a roadblock. After I entered my wifi password it kept saying I can't update, try again. I've tried dozens of times, again the error. I thought that was it, I was fooled. I searched the internet and found a way to do a hard reset by holding the red button in a certain spot 5 times in a row. This, along with a hardwired Ethernet connection, started the upgrades. After 30+ minutes of updates and reboots, it finally worked like clockwork.
