Hard to Clean best in my review

It does what it is advertised to do. Only one of my two cats was able to figure it out, but I'm not that surprised. (The other one isn't the smartest. Lol) my main complaint is how hard it is to clean. My cat is using her paws, nose, and tongue to get the treats out. After each use, it's covered in cat hair and treat crumbs, so I HAVE to clean it. This would not be an issue if the toy's material wasn't porous or if the design had so many small pieces. I like that the toy is made from "green-ish" materials but it degrades fairly quickly, even without using harsh cleaners. (I use a diluted isopropyl alcohol solution and paper towels to clean it.) I wouldn't be as salty by the material's longevity if I didn't have to take it apart to clean it. You have to unscrew 11 screws (the ones that produce tiny metal shavings when you unscrew them) to reach the undersides of the moving pieces. In the year or so that I've owned it, I've only used it a handful of times because of the time it takes to clean! Today I dusted it off and removed the giant center piece to hopefully get more use out of it. It should be slightly easier to clean now, but the material is getting rough and I don't want to clean it again.TLDR: It works well (if your cat is smart), but the upkeep required and overall longevity makes me avoid using it. 😕Side note: There is an upside to its ability to be completely disassembled. It allows you to "customize" the placement of the pieces, and makes it slightly easier to clean.
