Simple and basic. for measuring and marking tools
i buried it in the lid of a box i made for playing jenga in the garden. Our yard is sloping, so the spirit level is used to check the height of the roof, which is the platform for Jenga tower construction. I didn't need one that measures degrees and minutes. This gives a better than "close enough" reading. A 1 inch Forstner bit is ideal for making a recess.
