Review on πŸšͺ Clear Non-Slip Carpet Stair Treads for Wooden Steps - 24"x4", 15 Count by Brian Wesley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Safe, non-slip in building materials

Product as advertised. I put it on oak steps to keep people and dogs from slipping. We take off our shoes when we get home and on several occasions we have slipped our socks on the stairs. At one point, the dogs fought their way up and down the stairs for the same reason. I like the fact that it's transparent so the beauty of the oak shines through. The back is a bit difficult to peel off when starting, otherwise no problem. I would recommend taking it off gradually as you lie down. If a blister forms and you can't get it out, poke it with a needle and let the air out. To evenly distribute the strips on the steps, I cut two spacers from the masonite I had laying around, one across the width and one across the depth of the step. This eliminates the need to measure each strip when centering. Place the spacers on the step, one on each side and one behind the strip, then press the strip against it and start peeling the backing off with gradual pressure. The scooter came in handy and works very well. Currently I would have to give the product 5 stars. Only time will tell if he will continue to be what he is doing now. Btw I bought another pack when I saw how well it works. Now 3 sets of stages are covered.
