Review on Bissell 2035M MultiClean Garage Cleaner by Bradley Wacks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bissell blew everyone away with that! Finally the long-awaited hybrid.

Having used and reviewed the Bissell MultiClean Automatic Wet & Dry Drum Vacuum Cleaner, here is my honest review. I have used many shop vacuums in the past and I have many different types of vacuums around my house. This particular model is sort of a hybrid of the two, so I took that into account. It is not to be compared with shop vacuums, as it is expressly listed as a drum vacuum. Basically, it's a vacuum cleaner for people who don't own a business. 2035M (this model) is exactly what I was looking for. Not too big; not too small. All the key features I was looking for are there, so the pros far outweigh the cons. **PROS: - Not as bulky as traditional wet/dry vacuums - Thinner hose (I hate those huge hoses on other vacuums)...suitable for car interior cleaning - Various attachments (universal tool, wet floor nozzle, crevice tool, dusting brush, precision suction tool, Upholstery tool, precision air blower and 2 small tools) - Stainless steel retractable extension - Space to secure extension nozzle when not in use. Carrying handle for easy transport. Waterproof cover for power switch. Airflow regulator on the handle to reduce suction power when working with delicate fabrics. , pool toys, etc. - Two-stage filtration and filters are easy to access and clean - 6.5ft hose - 19ft cord - 2-year limited warranty - Ideal for cleaning vehicles, boats, garages, sheds, houses, apartments etc. -Perfect size for my shed when I need to use it as a shop vacuum -It's stable and doesn't easily overflow -Hose locks in place but still swivels -Multifunctional nozzle has a switch to go straight from bare floor to rug or rug - Full tank indicator - Cloth storage bag for nozzles ** CONS: - Thinner hose (can clog easily, cannot accommodate larger debris) - No storage space for tools on base unit when not in use (only space for dusting brush and crevice nozzle) - No automatic cord rewind - No filter cleaning indicator - The drum of the base unit is made of metal, so the lid may not come back snaps into place when crumpled o - no HEPA filter so really small particles get thrown back into the air. In conclusion I have to say that overall I am very impressed, especially for the price. It does exactly what I need and has exceeded my expectations so far. I've had nothing but good experiences with Bissell vacuums in the past and after using them I see no reason to break that winning streak.

Pros
  • Vacuum & Floor Cleaner
Cons
  • Crumpled
