Review on 🎨 Prismacolor Scholar Art Markers, Brush Tip, Assorted Colors, 10-Pack by Carrie Spencer

A light touch is all it takes

I have a set of Prismacolor colored pencils that I have used to color my mandalas for the past few years, they are creamy and rich. colorful and wonderful. But with a bit of arthritis in my hands, the pressure of coloring with crayons became painful and a bit daunting. These brush tip markers are the answer! They have true, rich colors and make it easy to apply paint. I chose a brush nib instead of a bullet nib to give more variation in width and these brush nibs work really well from thin to thick. What I particularly like is the light touch - no pressure, hardly any touch. I think they are for kids (scholar art) but I recommend them to anyone who loves to paint and appreciates ease of use. I haven't tried dipping the tips of the brushes in water to achieve a watercolor effect, but the packaging says I do. So more fun!

Pros
  • High quality markers to help artists develop
Cons
  • Some little things
