Doesn't work with induction hob

It would be a good product if it worked with my induction hob. I can stick a magnet on the underside, but the hob doesn't register it. This is not a stovetop as other pots work well on it. I don't understand what the problem is, but the bottom line is it doesn't work. I bought it as a return. I can't help but wonder if a previous buyer had the same issue. If you don't use it for induction cookware, this is a good cookware.
