Review on Edelmann 92189 Steering Pressure Hose by Abdirahman Mensah

This line is a replacement line for the 2000 thru 2005 jeep power steering cam mounted pressure hose. On the 4.7 v8 the original line had a latch to connect fittings that were leaking over time and were hired. Found from another company for $193 but bought this one for less than $50. If possible I checked the threads and they were correct on both ends. I started installing it in the pump and it went wrong and flattened the threads on the new line. See the attached picture! The problem is that the old line is sealed differently and had enough room for the threads in the pump, it has an o-ring added and an unthreaded 1/8" space so it only captures one thread and is crooked after that becomes. I had to cut off the circled part of the fitting and rethread, everything worked fine after that, but it was a lot more annoying than it should have been. I recommend buying the $193 line, you get what you pay for.
