This was the third regulator on this door; the rest didn't take long, especially considering it was for the passenger window. I had trouble getting the ebay to work, the engine was running because something was stuck. I thought my window frame needed adjusting. After installing it, I immediately noticed a difference with this one. The operation is smooth and fast. I'm sure it will take a long time. The difference I noticed in this case is that the rails have a rounded cross-section (as opposed to a rectangular one) which allows for relative pivotal movement of the bottom brackets (in the event the rail mount lugs are not in the correct planar ratios).
