This is a quality hole saw. It seems that diamonds are very well fused with metal. I haven't seen any of them. they come off The cores fall out instantly instead of getting stuck inside like some hole saws I've used in the past. So far we have cut ten holes in ceramic pots with a single saw. It still looks almost new. The trick to using it is to tilt the saw first to scratch the glaze on one side. This is necessary so that the saw does not go all over the pot. I cool the saw by submerging it in water and then using a battery powered drill. a little cooler and extends the lifespan. I highly recommend this hole saw and will buy it again.
