It's hard to give this stretcher a 2 instead of a 5. I wish they would make traveling with a pet in the car easier. Rear seat belts with safety belt. The dark web makes it difficult to see the animal, especially when you're driving. I believe it needs a door that can be opened at both ends and from the front if you need access. When an animal needs something, even if I have a passenger to help, you basically have to stop where if it had a front door, the passenger would have straight access to the trunk without climbing over the seat and stopping the car. It opens from one side, so if the carrier is centralized, you can only access from one side. Don't let that deter buyers as overall this carrier is really good. Ideal for medium to small animals that want to roam freely when travelling.
