I was particularly intrigued by the Ninjia Foodi’s included features and its ability to perform similar to a dutch oven. And after using this pot with a few recipes for the past few days, I am very happy how this pot has performed. The non-stick surface is one of the best I’ve used, its ability to distribute heat is top notch, and the versatility of the pot allows for so many uses. The uses I’ve run the pot through include slow cooking and roasting, sauce making, braising, boiling, and deep frying. And through all I’ve used it for so far, its certainly met my expectations.In addition to the pot, you get the lid, a roasting rack, and a spoon that places nicely onto the lid’s handle. I haven’t found a lot of use for the spoon yet other than pasta (which I’m still learning to use efficiently due to the spoon’s lack of holes for water drainage). Nonetheless its a handy add on. The lid is solid and also acts as a built-in colander. Draining pasta water out of the pot for example with the lid on does work, but its worth noting that there isn’t anything that locks the lid in place, meaning you may have to make sure to manually hold the lid in place when draining. The included trivet is another nice feature and should bode well for roasting, braising, steaming, etc.The pot itself is the main highlight and as mentioned earlier, it is one of the best I have used. The pot is very lightweight, yet very capable. The non-stick surface is incredible. Heat distribution is solid. Even when cooking dutch oven favorites like meat sauce or pulled pork, it does the job very well while making sure that absolutely nothing sticks. The side handles do a good job of staying fairly cool during stovetop use (though they will get hot when put in the oven). The lid handle does get hot a bit more quickly however. The pot itself also cools fairly quickly after use and the non-stick surface has made cleanup very easy.I’m very happy with the Ninja Foodi and I can certainly say that I will be using this for many more recipes. Recommended.
