This worked great with my little Asus Zenbook, but my new Asus Zenbook Pro Duo only has 2 ports on opposite sides so I had to buy an extension cable but also a Bluetooth mouse because I couldn't use the old mouse's receiver. But a Bluetooth mouse will not stay connected even if both are Bluetooth 4. I have a Pro Duo and it has a touchscreen, but using it to boot from CDs and ticking the tiny boxes is cumbersome and frustrating. I doubt this will work well with a splitter, so I give up. Now I am disgusted with both this device and a very expensive new computer.
