Review on Draper 1050 150Mm Fence Auger by Will Murphy

I ordered this drill because for some reason it's almost impossible to find in the US. I don't understand why every hardware store in America doesn't have this thing. I chose not to use an electric drill because my fence was very close to power lines. I didn't want to risk meeting them at the dig. This product did not disappoint us. It's a very simple tool that does exactly what it's supposed to do: dig holes. The only catch is that you still need to put in some effort to get it working. I would also recommend a post hole excavator. The best method I've found is to break up the surface with an auger and screw it in as deep as you can until you feel too much resistance, pull out the dirt, scoop out the dirt with a rod hole dredge, then repeat. On average it took me about 15 minutes to dig 30 inch holes. I did 11 holes in one day and never had a problem on any of them. I also recommend having a hatchet handy to chop down the roots if you come across them. CONCLUSION: If you want to dig holes and cut your digging time in half and dig holes with full precision, buy this tool.
