Good player at a very good price. Does what it claims to do. A short cable is included and can be 'hidden' at the bottom of the player, making it very portable and you won't lose the cable. The box says "DVD-RW" but it reads DVD+R discs that I previously burned. I haven't tested DVD burning as I won't be storing anything on optical media anymore. I only use this machine to transfer all my previously archived data to hard drive as well as old DVD movies. Optical media is outdated and my new laptop doesn't even come with it. The seller emailed me with detailed instructions on how to make it work (e.g. connect directly to a computer instead of through a USB hub). It's completely plug and play on my Windows 10 machine. No driver or similar needs to be installed. I have no problem with this player opening every disc I've tried, except for one bad disc that didn't play on any DVD player before.
