Yes, I could buy a starter at the local store for double the price. This appears to be of good quality. There is nothing that stands out and looks like it is poorly made. Installation is not very easy, it is quite tight. But that's how Nissan designed the engine compartment, it has nothing to do with the starter. I can say that this starter turns the crankshaft faster and the engine seems to start better now. Edit: I changed the rating from 5 stars to 1. After 6 months this starter has let me down 3 times. The first two I could tap with a wrench and then tried to start and it worked. The third time I was stuck in a Costco lot at night in cold weather. I couldn't get it to work by pressing it again. Luckily someone saw me coming across it and offered to help. He hit the starter while I was trying to start it from the car. And it worked. Luckily. I parked the car in the driveway and didn't drive anywhere until a replacement for Duralast came from AutoZone. I have received a return authorization from a Revain Customer Service Representative and am in the process of returning the defective starter. No wonder this starter is less than half the price of Duralast. I don't risk anything anymore.
