So far I really like this heater. It doesn't heat up the tank much, but gives my frogs a nice, warm spot in their tank. If they want to escape this heat, they can quickly climb into the water. The only thing I didn't like was that it couldn't be the main heat source. This will probably heat up the aquarium by about 5°. I needed a second halogen light to get the temperature up to the desired 70-75°. This would be great for the side of the tank if you don't mind the white patch. I like it in general.
