Review on Magigoo All-in-One Adhesive Pen by Sri Mims

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Highly recommended for PLA and PETG printing.

Raft. The prints adhere well and are easy to peel off when the bed cools down. I apply Magigoo when the bed is cold on a glass plate and then heat the bed to 65°C. The PLA prints stick like crazy, after you're done if the bed temperature drops below 35-40°C you can hard hear cracking noises when the part is separated from the bed. How to use: With the exception of spot treatment, I always apply cold. The instructions also state that you can get 100 prints from one application. on the print bed that you need to clean it. glass and wash it under warm water and it washes off easily. My first tube worked fine the first time, but when I tried applying it the second time the tube stuck together and I couldn't get a good flow. I contacted Thought3D and 2 days later they sent me a new handset. Absolutely fantastic customer service. At the same time they changed the design of the applicator and the new system works very well. You can easily apply a thin, even coat of Magigoo to your build plate. I don't use PETG very often, but I did 1 print with it the other day and it stuck really well too. But a fingerprint is not enough to make a solid recommendation. UPDATE (10/24/2017): I've made some PETG prints with 100% success. I have a layer temperature of 70°C and observed the same behavior as with PLA. The prints stick very well and then fall off as the bed cools. I had a very slight tear off a very thin section of a PLA print. For the next print I smeared a lot of Magigoo over the area and it stuck perfectly. I really rely on this stuff. Great when used correctly!
