Purchased August 14, 2016. Date of death: January 4, 2018. Elapsed lifespan: 1 year, 4 months, 21 days Don't know. I've had hubs that took years and years before I just replaced them with something with more ports or power or whatever. This was deactivated in less than 18 months. Probably a year or so later given all the weird behavior I couldn't attribute to the hub until it died out completely. I woke my computer from sleep and it didn't see my USB headset. Or I was playing a game and my mouse stopped working and then the lights went out. I bought it to run a Corsair RGB backlit keyboard and mouse. It was connected as a powered hub all its life. After accidentally dropping my peripherals for a few months, this death was more of an official announcement of what was going on. In truth I can say that I didn't understand what was going on, probably because I never had a USB hub. die earlier. At least I assume it will last longer. I will not buy the same item again.
