Review on Sena Smart Cycling Helmet: Revolutionizing Safety and Connectivity in Cycling by Jesus Gallagher

I bought two of these at the end of the cycling season last year. They are great and we were so excited to use them this year. About a month into this year's cycling season, one of the helmets died completely. I thought it was a dead battery so we tried all the ways to charge and other ways to charge the battery. It never charges. We also tried resetting the helmet but that didn't work. And of course due to the fact that we have used the helmets 2 seasons or more months apart we are not eligible for a return and I believe they are out of warranty. So, $430 later, we still can't get along when we ride bikes together. The sound quality was so good that we didn't even mind looking like a back-to-the-future document. But at the moment we are very disappointed. I would not recommend these helmets to anyone. UPDATE: I contacted the company and it was great working with them. After a few emails we were confirmed that the helmets are indeed dead. They asked us to return the helmets. We didn't even have to pay for shipping. Then they sent us brand new ones, which now work perfectly. Communication is very easy and we now recommend helmets to everyone we communicate with. Rating changed from 2 to 4 stars.
