Works great but installation isn't great

Installation could be a bit easier. The metal spindle is designed to fit different door sizes, and smaller doors like mine require the tab to be broken off. This tongue was not cut deep enough and it was almost impossible to break it to shorten the spindle. It took all my son's strength to cut it with wire cutters. Breaking it off with two pliers doesn't work because I had to cut off quite a bit (about 1/4 inch) and instead just had to bend the tip. After cutting the spindle it wasn't that hard. drilling some new holes. Installing the handle was a little easier having a second person hold it in place while I screwed it in. Works great now.
