I used to say this thing didn't affect ball flight, but today I tried it again on the range and immediately noticed a significant difference. I think the key is to make sure you're applying enough, but also applying it where you really tend to reach out. If you're not sure where you're touching the ball the most, spread it out over a larger area and a little thicker than you think. The thin layer doesn't really do much, or at least is harder to notice. By significantly reducing the rotation, the ball's flight can look a bit odd as it doesn't float. However, at some point the ball carrier will be a little larger. This stuff is great when you have a day that you just can't go straight. This can give you a little boost of confidence until you work things out, or just to help you have a little more fun on a tough day.
