This is great for adding storage to your Fire TV. I've used it on both the old 4K Fire TV (first gen) and Fire TV Cube to expand storage by plugging a 32GB Super Mini USB stick into the USB port and Use ES File to manage the extra storage. This worked better than the cable version seen on some TVs. When using it on a cube, it sticks out a bit on the right side, but doesn't interfere with placement or device tier. To use on Fire TV, disconnect the mini-USB power cable that goes to the Fire Stick and plug the adapter into that port, then plug the power cable into the adapter's mini-USB port. Then plug any USB drive into a regular USB port. I don't know the maximum amount of storage a Fire TV can access, so I wouldn't go too far. To use on the Cube, unplug the power cord from the Cube and plug the adapter into the mini-USB port, then plug the power cord back into the Cube. (The power cord for the Cube differs from the Fire Stick in that it uses a round mini-DC connector, not a mini-USB.)
