I'm a homemaker and married to a REAL chef. Despite this, for almost a decade we lived in a house with a strange unfinished kitchen where we used stove tops for cooking. I've spent anywhere from $50-$300 on these burners and so far this induction burner is my favorite! You MUST have the right pans for this, but these pans are a pleasure to work with, good steel that retains heat well and doesn't warp! With the right pot, this burner rocks, boiling water in no time and scorching in ways my poor little electric (even cast iron) burner just can't handle. I'm very glad I got this!
