So I had a few problems and bought 4 different voltage regulators for it so there could still be internal damage replacing the reg. Will not be fixed. I went outside in the cold, installed it, and with, it doesn't fit, I came in, scratched my head, how could this happen, it's been a few days, I'm going out again and thank god The Ford bracket has screws for both circuits. Should have read the other reviews and some of them are spot on, YOU NEED A WD40 OR A CRANE. Before you install the alternator use a bolt and screw it all the way back and forth, that's 25 years of corrosion. cleaned out of the hole BELIEVE ME. I used a flashlight and WD40 and finally got the strings together, should have gotten the WD40 2 weeks ago, yes I've been messing around with it several times a day you'll see. After installation, the friggin belt is 1 inch shorter. So the $35 belt is working again. I saw someone say the belt tensioner might have shifted, I haven't checked but would like to check now, I could save $35 because my belt is newer. I thought this alternator might have a different mount for different amps, air conditioning or no air conditioning, but one reviewer says its mounting means it is 130 amps compared to the standard 95 amps. Other than that, DB is great and makes quality products. . I put a powerful alternator on my boat and it charges at high levels which is great for all my devices and electronics on my boat.
