Review on Enhance Your Woodworking Projects πŸ”§ with the Jasper Circle Jig Model 240 by Jason Taylor

Great mount for power tools and hand tools

I started looking for a 6 inch hole saw for boards with corn holes but after seeing the price of a disposable hole saw I started looking for other alternatives. There were already a lot of good reviews for this device so I ordered one and waited for it to arrive. Upon arrival I immediately set about setting it up which was very easy - it hooked up to my router easily and the alignment pin configuration was included Jig provided the correct configuration. I made some test cuts on scrap wood and was very happy with the results. Although I ended up spending a little more than a 6" hole saw, I now have a tool that has many other uses! I've found that with thicker wood I have to cut on both sides with my current router bit, which isn't necessarily a problem except if your pilot hole isn't perfectly perpendicular to the wood, two sharp cuts will be slightly offset - nothing. what with one little loops or a longer piece could be corrected. Another important point is the final cut - if you don't fix the neckline (circle) and body when you reach the end point of the split, your pivot point can become unreliable - but careful attention or wood preparation/configuration avoids this. After all, none of these points relate directly to the device itself, but to the user and the setting that the user selects. I am very happy with the results of the circle cutter!
