Smaller holes are totally inaccurate

Larger holes e.g. B. 4 inches and more are ideal. I used to think I screwed up with the smaller holes, but now I see it's not my fault. For example, 2 15/16 was dealt as 2 27/32 or 3/32 out. Smaller holes are just the way. And to fix it is very difficult! And yes, I used the supplied calibration template.

Exactly but there are a few design flaws

I would give the whole thing 5 stars but as other reviewers have pointed out there are a few design flaws: the numbering scale needs to be printed on both sides and is difficult to use for holes smaller than 4 inches since the calibration holes for these smaller diameters are under the base of the router. The accuracy of cutting holes at a height.

Works perfectly! in Power Tool Parts & Accessories

Bought to make round cutouts for speakers. Using a plunge router and a 1/4 bit, the size is true to size - the only real downsides (minor) are the size numbers which point down during use and the screw pins etc are in the tube and can be separated from the main plastic become piece - a case to hold all the sticks would be good for the price - just make a few passes to cut through as suggested - plunge cutter makes it easy and you can cut circles all day - nice to see the product working like…

Works great with a few issues

With a few tweaks this thing would be perfect. It takes a few practice cuts with your particular router to get things lined up. I used this with a special Harbor Freight package (listed as compatible) and the 3 hole alignment cut everything 1/2 inch short. Not a big deal, but still. There is a way to fix it with two screws and it's neater. Another thing that needs improvement is the presence of markings on both sides. Like now, you have to choose your pivot point by looking back through the…

Great mount for power tools and hand tools

I started looking for a 6 inch hole saw for boards with corn holes but after seeing the price of a disposable hole saw I started looking for other alternatives. There were already a lot of good reviews for this device so I ordered one and waited for it to arrive. Upon arrival I immediately set about setting it up which was very easy - it hooked up to my router easily and the alignment pin configuration was included Jig provided the correct configuration. I made some test cuts on scrap wood and…
