This tire holder will allow you to fit a larger tire but it is not perfect. This carrier rattles and slides everywhere. I had to modify this bracket a bit (by threading the screw through both pieces of metal to keep the tire from slipping back and forth when braking and accelerating). Which is very surprising as teraflex is one of the leading brands in the aftermarket. And I've never ordered anything from them with such poor build quality. If you are considering this product rather than a bumper with the tire mount already fitted, I think you are definitely better off spending a little more money and getting a bumper mount fitted to one.
