Might be good for softer materials, but not hard SS.
Purchased to drill a 1mm diameter hole in a 1/10" stainless steel rod that already has a 0.5mm pilot hole. I used oil and avoided heat build-up. We tried different speeds but after three bits I gave up. This may work for softer materials, but not for hard SS.

- Will meet your needs: a set of excellent metal/wood/plastic countersinks. Suitable for DIY and general construction/engineering use.

- Cable is shorter than other picks
