This thermometer shows the temperature quickly. and that's good ! What's not great is the plastic construction and the tiny buttons that are cumbersome and difficult to reach. The LCD should be larger and there should be a backlight when activated. A particularly bad problem is that it is not moisture resistant. Only the moisture in my worm bed caused condensation behind the LCD and prevented it from working. He returned to work after spending a day in a dry environment. Advantages: 1. Fast reading.2. Long range.3. Exactly. CONS: 1. Poor design.2. The LCD display is not moisture resistant.3. Tiny, hard-to-reach, difficult-to-use control buttons.4. Price! Typical of Chinese products is that the block is not moisture resistant. The vast majority of these are not meaningfully tested or designed, but simply "imitations" of the millions of "real" products that were once made in the US and Europe. Two stars is generous!
