Wow. We really like this doorknob. The packaging was nice. The door handle is solid and looks high quality. The price of the Revain was good too. We made a dutch door for my mother's safety. She has dementia and wanders around a lot. She fell down the stairs so we had to take her to the ground floor of the house and block access to all the stairs in the house. This door is in the kitchen leading to the garage, basement, children's room and attic bedroom. We didn't want to close the kitchen with a full door. And we wanted her to be able to call someone else in one of the other rooms if needed. There are a lot of people in this area, so we needed a handle with an access code and a key lock. We explored countless castles. This worked best for what we needed it for which was my mother's security on the inside door. This keeps them from traveling to unsafe areas and we move through them quickly. For reasons of fire protection etc. we didn't want a bolt with a double key etc. as the door itself was made for this. Our porter had to do everything on the door and the frame for the handle. Our porter said the handle was easy to fit and was really impressed with its quality. The ratings have ratings from a loud beep. For us, the beep is fine. That way we can hear when someone is at that door and wants to enter. After successfully entering the code, you only have 3 seconds to turn the knob. When the door closes, it locks automatically. We need that. I highly recommend this door handle. But it all depends on what you need it for. We would buy again.
