High speeds, but something serious always breaks after a year

A year has passed and unfortunately I cannot recommend it. The hardware is excellent and the installation is very easy. It's just that Netgear's software development is just terrible. Consumer-grade stuff like this should be feature-poor and high stability, but it's feature-poor and no stability. --- Updated after 18 months: nothing changed, occasional disconnects --- After working with Netgear for the past 6 months and 8 firmware updates, AVOID THIS PRODUCT IF YOU WANT STABILITY. If you already own this product and cannot return it, please report it to the BBB: https://www.bbb.org/losangelessiliconvalley/pages/business-reviews/internet-services/netgear-in-san-jose-ca - 210357/file-a-complaintWhen using the Orbi system, you will find that devices disconnect randomly. Usually for a short time (a minute or two), and sometimes the loss of connection is only partial (e.g. when you can't share files with a specific user or your IM goes offline). Restarting any Orbi satellite or changing the MAC address on the device that is having problems always fixes the issue. Why? Because the "Feedback" system (or WDS) on Orbi is riddled with bugs. Several times a day, one or more of your (usually active) devices will lose connectivity because their Layer 2 transport system is just not working properly. Orbi gets many reports of connectivity issues, and Netgear has successfully confused the issue with "just need to reboot" or a vague recommendation to roll back the firmware. Of course, the problem keeps popping up. GET ANOTHER PRODUCT. Orbi is faster than the competition, but it doesn't matter if your connection keeps dropping.
