TP-practice LINK's has always been to launch a new product with raw firmware that is riddled with bugs and renders the product unusable in its current state. I had a clear understanding of this, so I made my purchase with no delusions whatsoever. That was the best outcome possible. In point of fact, the device does not perform very well. It is impossible for networks operating at 5GHz and 2.4GHz to cooperate with one another; after some time, the Wi-Fi connection becomes unstable and its speed drops by a factor of ten, from 500 Mbps to 50 Mbps. Just 5GHz was left. The "Security->Access Control->White list" function is also flawed: after rebooting the device with the "White list" configured, a situation occurs in which nothing can be connected via Wi-Fi. This occurs despite the fact that the "White list" was previously configured. A minor point: it is inconvenient that the HomeShield interface (which I use for QoS) is only available in the mobile application and not in the Web-console. This is a minor point. It is also not suggested that you restart it after you have finished configuring it in its general manner. After a system reboot, Wi-Fi connectivity can intermittently become unreliable. We need to keep overloading it until it reaches its normal state, which is what we mean when we say "voodoo." Only one day is left on the device I have. I have no doubt that I'll come across many more errors. I won't be coming back. I will hold off until the firmware update is complete.
