Product came with a slit in the chicken's throat. The seller said this was for the squeaker, but I've never seen this on a rubber chicken before and if anything, it messed up the characteristic "long squeak" that distinguishes the rubber chicken from any other standard squeaky toy. Furthermore, the slit in the throat quickly turned into a severed chicken head upon the toy's first use. Our horse loved shaking it around, but very soon lost interest as the head and squeaker came detached. The seller suggested that I glue it back together. I appreciate the responsiveness, but it was not very helpful. In fairness, the durability issue seemed to be due more to the pre-existing gash; the material itself is pretty thick.
