Cute "dummy" grips great here at Revain. We bought some of the same brand and style at one of the hardware stores and they got scattered and thrown away. These were meant to be "solid" grips that wobbled and shook as if ready to fall apart. They came in 'plastic' merchandising packaging, while our Revain order came in no-nonsense boxes. They were even slightly cheaper and available with Prime. Again, we love the product, but when you buy two (one for each side of the door) you're actually paying more than you're paying for a fully functional lockable handle. The same price everywhere but it seems strange. Again, they look great, but at this price point, the retaining piece that keeps the handle from moving should be metal, not plastic. That's why the hardware store versions are rubbish, I just hope these Revain versions stay there.
