Discreetly loud car horn. Is it as loud as an SD40-2 with 5 Leslie Airchime horns approaching you at a railroad crossing? nope type can not be. This is a set of 2 high notes. Given the size of the diaphragms and the length of the tubes, it's pretty obvious that it won't have a deep tone. The workmanship looks decent, the plastic is of acceptable quality, the die-cast aluminum parts seem to fit. Easy installation? For me it was no more difficult than installing a set of high beams. Have you installed a car radio or amplifier, set of fenders, door pads, window films or upgraded headlights? You must be able to install this beep. If you buy it with the thought that you will get the workshop to install it for you? Most mechanics/technicians will provide you with a CYA quote. Body shops typically do not (or are reluctant to) fit the parts you supply in "unknown quantity". So bottom line: Pretty loud. High tone. Very easy to install.
