China needs to hone its iron skills.

This product is a perfect example of buying online and being stuck in stone and anvil. When I assembled this pile of junk, not a single hole matched, I had to loosen and tighten the screws, add a few screws, loosen and retighten to shape the metal to make it all fit. The mechanism that allows it to pivot is a deal breaker for all small SUVs (I have a Toyota Highlander), the pivot has so much slack that the strut can sag about 3 inches and every bump in the road is a scratch is. So I had to turn the mechanism upside down so I had another 4 inches of free space, but now I can't stow it in the top position. I bought this light as a spring stand for my car. I paid 69.99 for it and paid 30 for shipping and I would have to pay at least that much to return it so why bother. I'll just take care of it. I have seen some on cables for 149.99 that are much better and made in the USA, wish I had known about them at the time. Don't repeat my mistake!
