Review on Sailun Ice Blazer WST3 255/55 R18 105T winter by Micha Osiski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

The hellish rumble that was supposedly coming, according to the evaluations, was embarrassing. Well, dang it, fellas, of course the tires hum when you install new winter tires in place of worn-out ones. Because the tread is new and high, it appears that the new rubber is significantly noisier than the old. This year, I switched from my own FF3 to the Bridgestone stated above (the Ford makes noise), and from my wife's Capture to this Saylun (which I feel to make no noise at all). Therefore, at any speed, the Bridges' rumble is audibly louder on the Ford. Sailun only hums loudly in a certain range between 110 and 120, outside of which it hums like any other rubber.

Pros
  • Of course, the cost is the biggest benefit. I spent 16000 on a kit 215/60 R17. If you don't read the label on the sidewall, an expert probably won't immediately recognize that you have Chinese rubber from the tread pattern, which is pretty standard. The tires' balance is excellent. The installer was taken aback because he had just installed new Breeches Blizzak Spike and declared that it was poor in this regard. My wife parks on the Renault Capture where I never go because it drives brilliantly in the snow that is currently falling in St. Petersburg. Porridge leaves perfectly from deep. It is rebuilt without throws when you accelerate out of the rut.
Cons
  • No, there weren't any unique expectations. I did so at my own risk and peril, but happily no issues have been found thus far.
