Whether this hook is right for you depends on the size of your hand. After reading reviews of ergonomic handles that are comfortable for knife-handled knitters and kind to people with arthritis, I decided to buy this set thinking it would be a good investment. It's quite expensive but I was willing to pay for the quality. They are well made and feel comfortable. If you have medium sized hands this is to die for. I have a vertical disability (less than 5 feet) and my arms are proportional to my height. These hooks are too long for my grip so they don't fit my hand perfectly. So for most average adults, this would be a worthwhile investment. As for those of us with small hands, you might want to see and get your hands on one of these in person. First before buying, especially since these hooks are much more expensive than a simple cheap soft rubber grip without a branded hook. Conclusion: Your mileage may vary.
