I bought these to replace the window handles on my 1988 Vanagon. They work, but I had to enlarge the hole in the window handle to get the shank screw in. This is necessary because the screw supplied has a different thread and does not screw into the door part. Another option is to buy a longer screw with the same threads as the standard screw. Overall VERY SATISFIED with these interchangeable grips. 1000 times better than standard design. They are also slightly longer to make the windows easier to open and close.
