Review on Daystar Sequoia Transmissions KT09110BK America by Donald Waller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Update 6 years. Wow! Just the right lift and a great product. Should have done that a long time ago.

Can be retrofitted after 6 years. I ended up with a 1 inch drag drop. You must do this so your front CV trunk is at a safe angle and will not be damaged by the increase in buoyancy. Still feels solid and still uses OEM rear springs, shocks and front coilovers. Now I'm switching to Bilstein 5100. I add more tires and drive ashore. You don't need a full out off-road to hit the trails and camp. The OEM 4x4 is good enough, just skip the off-road tires and go on an adventure on a budget! Learn by choosing good trajectories on difficult routes. My white 2003 Sequoia 4x4 Limited looks amazing with this 2.5 lifter. The Sequoia used to look a bit understated because its body resembles a large SUV. Now this additional 2.5 liter lifter evens out the looks with the original wheels too. The ride is smooth and the mechanic said installation was easy. The step is now a little higher and visibility is higher, it's smoother to drive and stop at traffic lights that sit higher than most SUVs. Polyurethane is very strong (same material used on your current shocks) and I'm sure it will survive a truck. This setup gives you the looks, ride, strength and durability of the Easy-Lift setup at a fraction of the cost compared to replacing all the shocks and adding $$$ coils. It still gives you a factory ride!
