Should have done this a few years ago

This kit was as easy as can be to install. i love the elevator Using stock wheels with 1.25 spacers and 285/70r17 tires gives it a really more aggressive look. Despite being 2WD, it has excellent ground clearance.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Doubt

Fits shocks, struts and suspension

Easily fits a 2003 Sequoia. Installing without a spring compressor was a little tedious, but after I found out a bottle jack could be placed between the frame and diff to give more clearance. Springs go with no problems.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Available in white only

Screws broke when tightened to 47 pounds

The front screw extensions for the top of the rack broke when tightened to 47 pounds. The rest of the set seems normal. But now I have to disassemble the frame and find the right screws. More trouble than it's worth. Buy a higher quality screw set.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Excellent quality and fit for my 2005 Toyota Sequoia

I purchased this alignment kit for my 2005 Toyota Sequoia. It fit perfectly and gave my Sequoia a strong attitude. After installation I added 285/70/17 which added a total of 2 inches to my Sequoia. I would highly recommend to all Sequoia owners.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Socket required

It's worth it! - Chassis

It's worth replacing the shock absorbers if you haven't already fitted the big/heavy tires. I went ahead and replaced my worn stock shocks with Bilstein 5100s on this climb, I left the front 5100 shocks on the low setting. Also, a 1" Toytec differential was added to reduce CV axle angles. Ride quality and stability are perfect.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Reliability

Does not come with everything shown.

This is a great, economical and functional way to raise your car. I've ridden off-road a few times since the fitment and so far so good. The kit did not include everything shown in the photo so I contacted Daystar to confirm if the items were missing from my kit and they shipped the kit to me. no longer available with the mudguards, bushings or shock absorbers shown. They did this to keep the price of the kit down and found that the labor cost of fitting the boots was not worth any of the…

Pros
  • quality construction

Can be retrofitted after 6 years. I ended up with a 1 inch drag drop. You must do this so your front CV trunk is at a safe angle and will not be damaged by the increase in buoyancy. Still feels solid and still uses OEM rear springs, shocks and front coilovers. Now I'm switching to Bilstein 5100. I add more tires and drive ashore. You don't need a full out off-road to hit the trails and camp. The OEM 4x4 is good enough, just skip the off-road tires and go on an adventure on a budget! Learn by…

Pros
  • Few competitors

  • Can be retrofitted
