I received the first handle with a rosette and a slightly damaged mounting plate. A mounting screw appeared to be bent and not quite aligned. I don't know if it was an assembly error or a return. I immediately ordered a second polo style pen which arrived the next day. The second handle looked like new and installed in the door without any problems. I know others have written in reviews that they had problems too. Really don't know if it's a bad pen sent through the system again or there are various issues at the factory. All I can say is that the first one had problems and looked used. The second fits perfectly, assembles without problems, works great and looks great.
