Worked as described, not sure if overclocked to full speed but good enough, noticed significant difference immediately. I rent a room on the street behind the house and the router is in the main house about 100ft from my room and there are 5 other people using wifi in this complex so my internet speed is sluggish. I had to upgrade my phone service and add a hotspot to be able to watch movies and surf the web without lag when everyone is on Wi-Fi. Browsing is now faster, pages load faster, and streaming videos load faster. Satisfied with this USB WiFi device. This was easy to install on my Late 2013 27" iMac with Catalina 10.15.7, since the iMac doesn't have a CD player I had to download the drivers from the company's website. easy!
