DO NOT INSTALL THIS WITH THE SUPPLIED CONNECTOR! USE THE OLD! The clip holding the pin you take out to remove the cylinder from the pedal won't come back when the fitting is attached! As difficult as this part is to change, I find it unforgivable that Exedy continues to sell them in this form. I usually like Exedy parts, but I will never buy anything from them again because of it. Save yourself the hassle and set up the old link before you fight that part back into your firewall, trust me. The associated link is approximately 1mm too wide to allow the clip to pass through the pin that attaches it to the clutch pedal.
